Why do I need to register a Xat account?
Simple, registering a Xat account gets you one step closer to being able to buy xats and days, buy xat powers, creating Xat groups, and more importantly reserving your own Xat nick or name. The black star (see below) shows other users that you are a registered user. Once you buy days you become a "subscribed user" and that black star turns yellow.
